Starting with 24h of flying and being awake for 56 straight hours, to a ferry trip through the Sydney harbour to Summerfest, to the awe of Vision Sunday and being baptised, it's been quite a week...
So far Hillsong and Hillsong College have been incredible. The people here are relentlessly passionate about seeing God's Kingdom furthered and about showing His love to others - the effort they put into achieving this is massive. The sheer size and attention to detail of every service is overwhelming.
College hasn't even started properly and I already feel like I could leave here now having been changed forever. I've experienced God in entirely new ways and had my expectations completely blown away. The meaning of "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and soul" is becoming more and more personal every day and I have never experienced such unbridled joy in all my life.
I'm super excited for what the year ahead holds and can't wait to become all that God intended Devin to be!
PS: Just for the record, South Africa is still the better country...
